✨ The End of One Chapter, The Start of Another

In partnership with

Hi friends,

If you’ve been following my journey, you may have already seen that I’ve officially left GEICO. Closing that chapter was not easy, but it was necessary. Sometimes we outgrow a role, and instead of shrinking ourselves to fit, we have to make the brave choice to move on.

For the next couple of weeks, my focus is simple: rest, reset, and time with my family. I didn’t get a long maternity leave, and I’ve been grinding ever since. Now I’m finally giving myself permission to pause before stepping into what’s next.

A free newsletter with the marketing ideas you need

The best marketing ideas come from marketers who live it.

That’s what this newsletter delivers.

The Marketing Millennials is a look inside what’s working right now for other marketers. No theory. No fluff. Just real insights and ideas you can actually use—from marketers who’ve been there, done that, and are sharing the playbook.

Every newsletter is written by Daniel Murray, a marketer obsessed with what goes into great marketing. Expect fresh takes, hot topics, and the kind of stuff you’ll want to steal for your next campaign.

Because marketing shouldn’t feel like guesswork. And you shouldn’t have to dig for the good stuff.

🌱 Staying True to Your Brand

One thing I have learned is the importance of protecting your brand. Do not ever allow a company to use you for your brand, your voice, or your influence without fair recognition and compensation. Your brand is yours. It represents your values, your story, and your worth.

During this transition, I have been overwhelmed in the best way by how many people from my network have reached out with motivation, job leads, and encouragement. That kind of support reminded me that this is not the end of my journey. It is simply the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

🌱 A Word of Encouragement

If your current role no longer serves you, it is okay to look for something else. Leaving does not make you ungrateful, unloyal, or weak. It means you recognize your worth.

Transitions can feel scary, but they are also full of possibility. Your next role, your next chapter, might stretch you in ways you never imagined. And if there is one thing I know about myself, it is that I always land on my feet. Even when doors close or seasons shift, I trust that what is meant for me will always find me.

So whether you are actively job searching or just taking inventory of where you are, know this: your growth matters. Do not settle where you are no longer growing.

✨ Tip of the Week

Ask yourself: Does my current role bring me closer to the life I am building, or does it keep me comfortable where I no longer belong? Your honest answer might be the first step toward change.

Thanks for being part of my journey, and for allowing me to be part of yours.

I cannot wait to share what God has in store for me when the time is right.
